Friends of the Forest Convention, 2002

At the District "Game" Convention, 2000, after winning two District awards (for best Club Project, and for support to the Lloyd Morgan Lions Clubs Charitable Trust), and getting two remits passed, Karori Lions beat off all opposition and won the right to host the District Convention in 2002.

O.K., there wasn't actually any opposition.

Well, the Convention, in the year of Ken Daniels's Governorship, held at the Wellington College of Education, has now come and gone - and, by all accounts, a great time was had by all! Attendance was not outstanding but, as guest PID Ian Fowler remarked, the loss was that of those who did not attend.

PDG Ray Lindsay was on hand throughout the weekend with his camera and we have compiled pages of Ray's photographs at each of the events. If others produce pictures worthy of posting on these pages, please let me have copies for scanning

There is a page of pictures from each session:

Please note that these pages contain several pictures and may take a minute or so to load.

Anyone wishing to purchase copies of these photographs, or enquire about the much larger number of photographs actually taken, should contact Ray Lindsay.
